10 آلاف موقع الكتروني تحتج على قانون “مكافحة القرصنة”

لم يعد تصويت الكونغرس الاميركي على قانون لمكافحة القرصنة الالكترونية على الانترنت مؤكداً، بعدما قررت مواقع الكترونية ذات شعبية واسعة اعلان “يوم تعتيم” على الانترنت لمنع تمرير القانون.

واستغلت هذه المواقع بيانا اصدره البيت الأبيض بصياغة حذرة اعرب فيه عن دعم جزئي لقضيتها وسارعت الى الانخراط في خطة تعتيم قيد الإعداد موجهةً ضربة الى وسائل الاعلام التقليدية.

ونقلت صحيفة “وول ستريت جورنال” عن مسؤول في احدى الشركات الاعلامية، ان تغيراً حدث في موقف البيت الأبيض، لافتا الى “ان السلطة السياسية تعكس نمو السوق” الذي يتسم بصعود وسائل الاعلام الالكترونية الجديدة.

وتعهدت 10 آلاف موقع، الأربعاء، بالتوقف أو تسويد صفحاتها على الشبكة، كما افادت منظمة “فايت فور ذي فيوتشر” (ناضلوا من اجل المستقبل)، ومقرها ولاية ماسيشوسيتس. واعلن اصحاب موقع ويكيبيديا الذي يأتي بالمرتبة العاشرة من حيث الشعبية في الولايات المتحدة، غلق الموقع في هذا اليوم. وكتب جيمي ويلز احد مؤسسي الموقع معلنا على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي “تويتر” غلق الموقع: “تحذير الى الطلاب! انجزوا واجباتكم البيتية في وقت مبكر. ويكيبيديا تحتج على القانون السيئ يوم الأربعاء”.

وسيعم السواد نحو 12 موقعا من اكثر 100 موقع شعبية في الولايات المتحدة بينها موقع “ريديت” المختص بمناقشة الأخبار ومنظومة المدونات “ووردبريس”. وتعتزم حتى شركة “غوغل” اضافة رابط الى صفحة البحث الرئيسية في الولايات المتحدة يوصل المستخدم الى معلومات عن القانون.

وسبب هذه الخطوات الاحتجاجية كلها قانون يهدف الى وقف المواقع الأجنبية التي تبيع افلاما وموسيقى ومنتجات أخرى مقرصنة. وسيتيح القانون الذي أُعد لمكافحة هذه القرصنة لوزارة العدل ان تطلب من القضاء اصدار اوامر تشترط على محركات البحث الاميركية ان تسقط هذه المواقع من نتائج بحثها الى جانب اجراءات اخرى.

وكان كثيرون في هوليود ووسائل الاعلام التقليدية التي تدعم القانون يعتقدون حتى الآونة الأخيرة انه سيمر من دون مقاومة. ولكن قرار البيت الأبيض المجاهرة بمعارضته فقرات من القانون وجه رسالة الى وسائل الاعلام التقليدية بأن شركات تكنولوجية عملاقة مثل “غوغل” و”فايسبوك” تفوقت عليها في المناظرة حول القرصنة. وعلى سبيل المثال ان الناطق السابق باسم البيت الأبيض جو لوكهارت يعمل الآن لحساب “فايسبوك”.

وتعود المشكلة في احد اوجهها الى ان رأي وسائل الاعلام التقليدية القائل بأن على المستخدم ان يدفع مقابل ما يشاهده من افلام وبرامج تلفزيونية شعبية وما يطلع عليه من كتب، لا يلقى استجابة أو تأييدا من المستهلكين المعتادين على تلقي المواد مجانا على الانترنت. ولكن المعركة تبين ايضا ذكاء شركات الانترنت في استخدام الشبكة العنكبوتية وخاصة مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، في تحديد الأجندة.
